Lingua Native is a browser extension that transcribes and translates the media you watch. It is designed to run entirely on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not run servers that receive your data.

2. What We Collect

Nothing. Lingua Native does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

• Transcription and translation happen locally on your device.
• The audio and on-screen text of what you watch are processed locally and are never sent to us or any third party.
• Your settings and saved vocabulary are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device. We do not have access to them.
• We use no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

3. Permissions

The extension requests only the browser permissions needed to read the media on the page you are viewing in order to transcribe it. This access is used solely on your device and for that purpose.

4. Data You Control

Because all data stays on your device, you are fully in control. You can clear your saved data at any time through the extension settings or by removing the extension from your browser.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we add features in the future that process data differently (for example, optional accounts or cloud-based processing), we will update this policy and describe those changes before they take effect.
